About Taipei Water Dance Festival
The 2026 Taipei Water Dance Festival invites you to a mesmerizing outdoor theater of light and sound! The Rainbow Bridge is no longer just a bridge, and the Keelung River is not just a river—they have been transformed into Taiwan's first "3D Water Dance Theater." From June 13th to June 27th, the 2026 Taipei Water Dance Festival will take place brilliantly at Xikou Wharf and the Rainbow Bridge. Water Dance performances will take place every day at 18:30, 19:30, 20:30, and 21:00, for 15 consecutive days With the massive success of Taipei Water Dance Festival in 2024 and 2025, which had attracted over a million visitors, this year’s festival has been further upgraded. In addition to the highly anticipated return of international cartoon IPs and the Dance of Water and Fire, we have innovatively linked the Rainbow Bridge with the Keelung River to create a 170-meter dual-platform water stage. Watch as water cascades from the bridge to meet the river’s 80-meter straight water wall and 90-meter S-shaped waterscape, creating the majestic "Dance of the Twin Dragons." No matter where you stand, you’ll capture a perfect, breathtaking view.

Global Melodies Meet Light and Water: A 5-Minute Musical Journey Around the World This year’s program features world-renowned hits, turning the riverside into a grand outdoor theater. From classic Western operas and cinematic themes to chart-topping Japanese animated scores and the global phenomenon of K-POP, the diverse musical layers will thrill your senses. Through dynamic water formations, shifting lights, and rhythmic choreography, music is transformed into a dance of droplets and shadows, delivering unprecedented sensory impact. Weekly Excitement: International IPs and Spectacular Performances YOYO figures and international cartoon IPs will take turns appearing each week to bring vibrant interactive performances. On June 13th, the festival opens with a "Rainbow Party" featuring the globally famous My Little Pony, perfectly complementing the iconic Rainbow Bridge. On June 27th, the grand finale will feature the timeless PINGU, touching the hearts of all generations with a "Cute & Dreamy" celebration. Don't miss the special bonus: the "Dance of Water and Fire" will be performed during the 19:30 shows on both the Opening Night (June 13th) and the Grand Finale (June 27th), where light, flames, and water jets compose the ultimate climax of the festival!
